Professor at ESUPT (Escola Superior Politecnica Tecnocampus). As Faculty member of ESUPT, lecturer in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship and part of the research group CEO (competences in entrepreneurship and occupability)
Former General Director for the Tecnocampus University Foundation 2012-2018 (in this period the organization grew from a budget of 6 M€ to 19 M€, reaching the break even ).
Previously (for 11 years) CEO for the Lavinia Group, a leading media services group in Spain (€60M turnover / 392 employees in 2011). He began there as Commercial Director and in one year became General Manager and entered as a shareholder in the group. In the meantime, the company grew from €2M in 2001 to €60M in 2011. As CEO he managed the expansion of the company based in organic and M&As investments. At that point, in 2011, Lavinia merged with the listed company Vertice360 (154 M€). In the resulting company CEO for the Digital Media Division, and a member of its Board.
From 1999 to 2001 and before joining Lavinia, working in the Telco firm Retevisión-eresMas as ISP Manager. Responsible of the commercial launch of the first Internet free access in Spain, (market leader in 2001 with 35% share).
In 1993 he began as Professor at the Mataro University College-UPC. In 1997 he became Deputy Director of the college and got into the team that developed the idea of TecnoCampus. In that times (1998-99) co-director of the Master Plan for the Information Society of Mataro and also Technical Secretary of the Strategic Plan for the IS in Catalonia (LocalRet and Catalan Government)
In the late 80s began the career as a researcher in CETEMMSA taking over the development of EDI projects in the field of European Commission (FP5).
Secretary in ISOC-Cat (Internet Society), participating in the launch of the. CAT domine. Also part of the Board of the Catalan Telecom Professional Association (ACET).
In the past 15 years member of the Management Board in 24 different companies, achieving an important experience in business development.
Currently investor and/or advisor on some boards in ICT and Media sector SME /Start-Ups.
