My research interests lie at the intersection of accounting and entrepreneurship. In particular, I empirically study the role of accounting information in the attraction of early stage investments, ranging from initial rounds of financing to IPO processes. My early professional life started as an auditor at PwC before moving into a teaching position at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. On the side, I have been involved in distinct projects, most recently in the preparation and reporting of financial and managerial accounting information for several start-up firms. I hold a BA in Business Administration at UPF, an MSc in Business Research from UB and I am currently a PhD candidate in management at UPF, having taken visiting scholar positions at Kenan-Flagler Business School.
